Solanum lycopersicum

History: This unusual variety has a large hollow seed cavity - ideal for stuffing like a pepper, or just use as normal - and is one of the prettiest tomatoes we have grown, with a true peach-blush on the skin. Highly productive. This peach-blushed, unusual variety has a large hollow cavity inside (not many seeds so you may have to collect seeds from quite a few fruits to get a good amount) which makes them perfect for stuffing. We first obtained this tomato from Real Seeds and grew it out for the first time in 2022, we found it to be delicious! It is an ancient, heirloom variety bred by Henri Vilmorin of the famous Andrieux-Vilmorin Seedhouse in France.

When to sow: from late February indoors to early April if you will be growing the plants outdoors.

Requirements: nutrient-rich soil, regular watering, and a lot of sun.

Harvesting: in southern England, typically July/later summer.
