Blue Fire - Tomato

Solanum lycopersicum

Story: This is one cosmic tomato! As the fruits grow they are a deep black/blue, ripening to red/blue with golden specks that resemble galaxies in space. They ripen a little later than other toms but are well worth the wait if the blight holds off. We enjoyed their flavour and beauty.

When to sow: from late march to early April if you will be growing the plants outdoors.

Requirements: nutrient-rich soil, regular watering, and a lot of sun

Harvesting: late summer in southern England. It ripened quite late in our garden.

Please remember, if you’re an individual grower you can order up to 3 packets of seeds. If you order more than this, you will receive just three packs to begin with. This is to ensure we get plenty of data in return and to keep our stocks sustainable for years to come.*
