Sweetcorn - ‘Stowell’s Evergreen’

Zea Mays

This is an old variety bred in Virginia USA by Nathan Stowell  in the 1800s. It is a late producing corn that is touted to retain its crisp sweetness even later into the season. We found it grew really well and produced large cobbs. 

We only have around 100 seeds (one large packet) of this left so ideally it would go to a seed guardian that can grow that many plants (50 - 100 plants is a good amount to keep a strong genetic for corn varieties), is confident in growing sweetcorn and can be sure to give it 500m distance between other corn varieties to prevent cross pollination.
